• Consultant should be able to communicate very well and work with HR to
determine the scope and requirements of a Global HR Analytics prototype and
also work with providers worldwide to collect HR data.

• Consultant should be able to transfer knowledge to the client BI analysts
by answering questions and explaining various technical aspects of the BI
system.

• Consultant's strongest hands-on skill set should be in the area of data
modeling. Consultant should be an expert in creating Key Figures,
Characteristics and InfoCubes.

• Consultant should be able to create DataSources for Master Data of
Characteristics and Transaction Data for InfoCubes.

• Consultant should be able to load data, define queries, create web
applications for data analyses, and broadcasting web applications by email.

• Consultant should be able to integrate BI reports in Enterprise Portal.

• Consultant should be able to define at least four different levels of
security and access to reports in the web application and enterprise portal.

• Consultant should have the skill set and knowledge to create a complete BI
scenario; from creating the data model, defining data flow from source to BI
store, loading data, creating web-based reports and configuring the
enterprise portal for BI reports.

Client is a US$14.8 billion global provider of engineered electronic
components for thousands of consumer and industrial products; network
solutions and systems for telecommunications and energy markets; undersea
telecommunication systems; and wireless systems for critical communications.


Client is launching an HR Analytics project. The purpose of this project is
to collect HR data from 70 different HR systems worldwide and provide
analytics using SAP's Business Intelligence toolset.  The initial step will
be a prototype with one of our global, but reasonable in size and reach,
business units. This will begin in mid January, with a goal of completing
the prototype by mid April.  Clinet plans to start with the analytics
delivered by SAP, with a focus on analytics associated with headcount,
turnover, compensation and other employee demographic analytics. We will
only add custom analytics when a business case is successfully made for
them. "
