In section 3.1, the tag #6.1234 is used. That seems too unlikely to be a real tag. I checked, and indeed, it must be a placeholder for an assignment that isn't in the IANA Considerations. In section 3.2, the example COSE_Sign1, shouldn't it always be an array of
four elements? If there isn't a "detached payload", then shouldn't that
element be null? Or maybe I have done too many attached payloads and I
should re-read about detached payload.

okay, but how about extracting two sentence from those documents of the
nature of, "Of course the BLAH BLAH considerations of {{RFC9162, Section
14.4}} continue to apply, even though the presentation is CBOR"
