Just a quick followup. I added ulimit -c unlimited to the environment for httpd and added a CoreDumpDirectory directive to my httpd.conf and now I can't get it to crash. So hooray magic incantations; I'm just happy for a non-crashing web server.
If the problem recurs and I find anything interesting from core dumps I will post to the list. thanks, Chris On Jul 5, 2011, at 12:26 PM, Jarod Malestein wrote: > > As it is an intermittent issue, a core dump would probably help figure out > why mod_cosign (or something else) is not happy. > > > Jarod > > > On Jul 1, 2011, at 2:44 PM, Christopher Sarnowski wrote: > >> I am running the 3.1.2 CoSign Apache2 filter on Apache 2.2.3 (on Centos >> 5.5). Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense.
