This is fabulous information and far more than I thought possible, thank
you so much for passing it on.
I thought I had hit one of the genealogists brick walls, but the
cotyroneireland website has proved that wrong!
I would love to find some of my Irish cousins - so will follow up your
suggestions re the Facebook groups.
I also have a photo of Andrew Maxwell, taken at Young and Glass in
Londonderry which must date from the 1860s before he left for NZ. Do you
know if there is any archive which might have other photographs? It's
possible other members of the family might have had photos taken too.
