Thank you Patrick, I suppose that my asking actually accentuates the differences and may not been tactful!
Evelyn, do you have referencing to the lists of the buried in the cemetery’s in Donaghmore? And what date did the newer cemetery’s start? Since I have not heard of many earthquakes in Ireland, I guess the dead have found much in common and little to upset their rest. It is unfortunate that the living cannot emulate the dead and have a need to place emphasis on their differences. Regards; Patrick J. I even asked at the church across the road and was greeted with surprise that I would be looking there for such things. I did find a Protestant church further down the road with cemetery but did not find any help there either. Church locked and no reply to phone call. I too am researching Shaws that lived Donaghmore. John Shaw b 1732 Married Sarah McIver 1751. I have photo of board in front of church I believe in my 1000s of yet unsorted photos, if you are interested. I see some names on there I should research then :) I've been trying to find Presbyterian Donaghey's and Shaw's in graveyard records, with little success so far, but these things take time. It's also difficult when there are several children with the same name ( as I'm sure everyone on this site is familiar with ) Thank you for the information.
