Emigration records were not kept in Ireland until the late nineteenth century and it will be necessary for you to commence your research at the port of disembarkation. Did Isabella emigrate with her entire family or perhaps a sibling or two? I have referred to the surviving passenger lists of the Londonderry shipping firms of J & J Cooke and McCorkell, but located nothing to assist your research. Also don’t overlook the fact that many Irish departed to the new world via Greenock, Glasgow, Scotland and Liverpool, England.
