Hello, I am looking for any information about Alexander Gallagher, born around 1793 in County Tyrone. He married Mary McDevitt around 1818 in County Tyrone and they had a daughter, Nancy, born around 1819. The family migrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in July 1820. Mary was Catholic, so her marriage and daughter's Baptism may be found in parish records. I have looked through various Catholic Parish records posted at https://registers.nli.ie/ and failed to locate any of their names. (I realize that the records before 1820 are limited.) Again, Gallagher can be spelled many different ways and wonder whether this website's search engine accepts wildcards (i.e. *, % and such). Best regards, David
