Baronscourt is certainly a grand residence I was unaware that the Abercorns had an estate near Dungannon. There is no reference to any East Tyrone holdings in William Roulston's superb Abercorn: The Hamiltons of Baronscourt (Ulster Historical Foundation, 2014). Interesting. Not an easy life. However, Baronscourt is another matter, I think I could comfortably enjoy living there in 1840. Yet so isolated - no internet 😁.
