My name is Vincent Weisner, and I am going some research on my Hinshaw
ancestry, which lead to my ancestors living in County Tyrone. My ancestors
were Jesse Hinshaw and Abigail Marshall, and they were Quakers.
I would like to learn more about my ancestors that lived in County
Tyrone and a possible lineage that has been discovered. Jesse was born in
County Tyrone abt 1720 to John Hinshaw and Elizabeth Belshaw. Jesse died on
29 April 1797 in North Carolina. His wife Abigail, was born in County
Tyrone, but don't have a date on hand, to Benjamin Marshall and Ruth Bell.
Abigail died on 18 March 1806, in North Carolina, which I believe that is
where she died. Jesse and Abigail lived in County Tyrone with their sons
and daughters, then immigrated to America as they were Quakers.
I believe my ancestors attended the Grange Monthly Meeting, but I'm not
sure as I can't find a way to access the records online. Can someone please
check the Grange Meeting records to see if Jesse and Abigail were listed as
members, and help me research a possible lineage of both Jesse Hinshaw and
Abigail Marshall to more ancestors?
Please note that I have this email in both English and Irish, as I
don't know if anyone prefers one or the other. I would say that most of the
people would be able to understand what I'm saying, but I wasn't sure.
