Hi, I have two Couchbase clusters that run pretty smoothly, however whenever I try to rebalance one of the cluster if always fails with a "wait_backfill_complete, infinity" message. I know that I have had issues with memory fragmentation due to the fact that I write small documents that are later changed to bigger ones, so I've tried installing the latest tcmalloc as suggested by Aliaksey. I've tried restarting all the nodes, while stopping all incoming data, but the result is always the same. When reaching the bucket "html" it constantly fails after a while.
I hope someone can help shed some light on the cause of these issues and let me know how to complete the rebalance. You can find the cbcollect_info zip file links below.
