Ted, that is possible the best way to do your shocks. Double your sealing. adding silicon brake fluid. Did you take them to an Auto machine shop to have them honed? I found that to work well at cleaning the interior surface up. Tried the little brake hones but could not get the right reach to the bottom. Warren
