Hi Andy,I've read a couple of ans. to you. I agree with David Abrams, I too installed both "O" ring @brake cup.use silicone brake fluid. My strut cyl. walls were quite rusty during rebuild 4 years ago. What little fluid was there was mostly water,dirt,etc.I'm going to take them apart this next annual to renew seals ,fluid. Besides a log book entry on strut rebuild I glued small decals just below filler caps :use silicone brake fluid only; Hope this and other inputs help you. Ted Lechner Jr.2654h Sacramento,Ca.
