The Sky Ranch Engineering Manual by John Schwaner includes a chapter labeled "performance Limits". This chapter FULLY discusses all aspects of Horsepower and contains the formula's that are needed to convert observed HP to corrected HP. Corrected HP corrects for Dry bulb temperature variations at the carb, barometric pressure changes, air temperature changes and other factors. Makes great reading and any pilot interested in his engine and it's health should own a copy of this book as there is more to HP than altitude.
