That was probably "THE ERCOUPE", by Stanley G. Thomas. It has been out
of print for a long time but there was just a reprinting of it (an
"updated" version I believe). I don't remember the address to order it
from but I'm sure someone will see this post and send it to you. If so,
put it on the group list again as I think I'll order one also and see if
it is, in fact, an update or just a straight reprint of the one I
already have.
It's a much smaller book than "Touch of Class" and it's a
paperback,
but it's an excellent book and well worth the price. I have them both
and personally I think the little one is the best of the two. Touch of
Class is more like a 'scrapbook' of facts, photos, articles, etc. Where
as "The Ercope" is the true story of the coupe from the beginning to the
end and you might say "The Bible" of the Ercoupe's history.
Good Luck finding that address, and when you do, I'd like it also
