Hi Again Dick,
I forgot to mention, there are a couple of other books that you
may be
interested in.
One is "From The Ground Up", The Autobiography of an Aeronautical
Engineer. This is the story of Fred Weick, the man who designed the
Ercoupe. Co-Authored by Fred E. Weick and James R. Hansen. You should
be able to order this one from any retail book store, it has an ISBN
0-87474-950-6. If I remember correctly, I ordered mine a couple of years
ago through Barnes and Noble and it arrived in just a few days.
Also there is "Fly-About Adventures and the Ercoupe". This one was
written by Paul Prentice in 1991, but is no longer in print and was
never assigned an ISBN number. It's loaded with color pictures and
interesting stories. Paul also wrote another book about Ercoupes, but I
haven't been able to find the name of it and I imagine it's also out of
print and no longer available. If you happen to run across the name of
this other book I'd like to know what it is and any other info you can
find on it. Thanks.
I hope this helps you out some. Good luck.
