You bet there is. Around 5000 aircraft effected with a chemical called Ethylene Diamine (EDA) including mine. Was incorrectly dosed into the fuel at the refinery. The cleaning procedure is to wash tanks, pumps, filters etc with water. Now the interesting thing about that is that the AD describes a method of getting residue water out of the tanks etc after decontamination. 3% of the tank capacity of Isopropyl Alcohol is added to full tanks of fuel and allowed to slosh around etc. The fuel is then drained off and a further 1% of Isopropyl Alcohol is added to full tanks and the aircraft is flown with this. The Alcohol binds the water to the fuel and runs it out through the engine during combustion. This would be an ideal way of cleaning Coupes tanks as they are hard to clean out all the water. 1% of Alk into each tank occasionally may be just the thing.
