I recently ordered a car cover from an automotive web site and they were pushing a plexi cleaner called Plexus. I bought it to use on my convertible rear window but decided to try it on the Astrocoupe (since the label claimed to work on airplanes). The stuff is incredible. I have been using Prist but I have never been all that happy with it. I have also used Mirror Glaze with so-so results.
I really was impressed with this stuff. After cleaning my windshield it looked new and glistened. I just noticed that Chief Aircraft has Plexus (and cheaper than the place I got it from) also so it is probably available at most airplane supply houses. I buy plain cotton flannel from my local fabric superstore to use for polishing. It is the cheapest way to get soft cotton cloths I have found.
