Hello All: I discovered something I feel needs passing on. As many of you know there is an A.D. that mandates that the gascolator bowl be supported with a pair of braces that terminate in a clamp at the inlet to the gascolator bowl. Well on 09H, I found that vibration had worn the 45 degree fuel inlet fitting to the point that failure was just around the corner. What's worse, is that the wear was behind the fitting, hidden, so that it was not visible until the whole thing was removed.
This would bring you down just as surely as the problem that the A.D. was written to cure.
