Fellow Eroupers and Aircoupers: After nine months of design, construction, installation, and certification, I now have an approved shoulder harness installation in my Alon. Due to requirements of my local FSDO, I had a Designated Engineering Representative (DER) design my installation, so the final package included with the 337 has "FAA Approved Data" that calculates its ability to withstand 9G force.
I am selling complete data packages for $25.00 each to
defray my expense for the DER and the reproduction and
mailing. These packages of approximately 20 pages include:
(1) The DER's report with all calculations.
(2) Drawings, parts lists, and recommended sources for all
parts.
(3) 4 x 6 photos of the installation, both external and in
the tailcone.
(4) Copy of the 337, log entries, and w&b data.
(5) Written details on how to do it.
Due to FAA requirements, this data applies only to my
airplane, so I can't make any claims for it or sell parts.
The value is to you is that rather than just a drawing of
the installation as included with other 337s, there is
complete data from a reputable source, so it is more likely
to be accepted by your FSDO.

installation and a single drawing of the entire installation
so you can see what it looks like. Please email me with any
