Greg; The easiest that I have found is the pressure sensitive decals. You can buy a kit with includes green, red, white, and yellow decals in arcs for 2 1/4 and 3 1/8 instruments plus straight lines for marking the high/low limits. The kit is listed in the Aircraft Spruce catalog under P/N 10-03905 and costs $2.95. I got mine from my local aircraft supply house, Great Atlantic in Avon Park, FL, but I am sure that other places carry the kit too. If you use the kit, I found that cutting the arcs just a little longer than needed, so I could handle it with a pair or tweezers, then cut it off with a sharp blade worked the best. Good luck!
