Was wondering my left wing is heavy real heavy all the controls have been adjusted per the Ercoupe manual I have noticed that on the wing that is heavy (left wing) that the out-board leading edge of the aileron sticks up above the top of the wing about 3/16's the rest of it is flush with the top of the wing on the right wing the aileron is flush along its entire leading edge surface with the wing do you suppose that on the left wing that this 3/16 leading edge sticking up is acting as a spoiler and causing the wing to be heavy could I possibly use washers between the wing and the aileron hinge to bring it back into its proper position ?? We have checked and there seems to be no damage to the wing or aileron it just looks misadjusted and may be acting as a spoiler any advise will be appreicated joey
