Droopy wing tips sounds too good to be true.....
And, I think it is too good to be true....

Droopy tips will increase lift, allowing shorter steeper climbs.....Great.

But additional surface area means more parasitic drag.....and more lift
means
more induced drag...

More lift, more drag....more drag requires more power.....

So, yes you will be able to climb out more steeply, but fly
slower.....unless
you add power.

Nothing comes free.....

Cleaning up the airframe, doing away with all those unused heavy radios,
and
instruments, leaving all those books and maps and spare parts behind,
checking for proper rigging, alignment of the nose gear, etc, all are
no-cost/low cost items that will improve the performance of your
coupe.....

Now, I may not be right, so try it...
