rare type but not by airplane standards and they are no different than any
other aluminum plane.  Save the rare classification for Curtiss Jennys.

This is STUPID!   Just how hard do you think it is to work on a Ercoupe?
Really, I think you people are getting a little too self-important!  I
hope
your proposal never goes anywhere.  If they can't just give owner
maintenance like they did in Canada then I sure don't want any Ercoupe mob
deciding who can and can't work on it!
