My I/A tells me that someone he knows at Palmer, MA a new Franklin 125, prop and C-150 motor mount that he would like to sell. They are still in their original shipping cartons, so presumably all there and in good condition. No asking price and I do not have his name at this time. If anyone is seriously interested in pursuing this, I will find out what his name is and how to contact him.
I am not excited about this change because it is my understanding that the FAA has become really tough on changes involving engines, fuel tanks and flight surfaces. It seems to me that before anyone contemplates such a change, it would save a lot of trouble to talk to the local inspector at the FAA and get at least his informal approval.
