Hi list, I've been silent for awhile, because I sold my plane. But I have just recently purchased another one. It's a 415G, s/n 5021 with total time of 1379 and 600 SMOH. It has been sitting for 8 years and I plan to strip it down completely and walnut shell blast everything, then apply corpon epoxy primer to the entire inside. Should be bullet-proof after that!
Plans are to recover with stitts, and then try to make the instrument panel look just like factory stock, even with the 2 glove boxes. I dont know if anyone sells those glove boxes, so I'm looking--- My last one was a 415 C with a C85. The G came with a C85, and was advertised as the "improved Ercoupe" (?) I'll let everyone know how the split elevator works. I am interested in finding the following items: 2 glove boxes pictures of the original instrument panel configuration factory original paint schemes of that era (colors) I'm going to try to document the work with a digital camera and post pictures from time to time. I'm pretty excited about it- and I only paid $3000.00 for it. jan zanutto fresno ca 415G, IA / A&P --------------------------------- to unsubscribe send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics
