jan, I have a picture of an original panel at http://www.ercoupe.com/miscpics/nicepnl2.jpg.html (lower picture)
Also the Ercoupe service manual from Univair has a picture of the original panel I estimated the closest Pantene colors from this original panel as: Gray = Pantone 417C Red = Pantone 498C from the Pantone Color Selector 1000/Coated sample book in a light wrinkle finish. However this is all for an early SN (i.e. before they went to the mini quadrant like yours) Univair has the parts for the glove boxes. The first box cover I bought several years ago was nicely done but I bought a second (first = $32, three years later = $80's) and was very disappointed by the weld finishing. The corners were not symmetrical, some where more pointed than others. I returned it to them for credit. If you get offers for more than 2 box doors let me know and I will buy one. Also the glove box itself is just cardboard stapled together. You can buy one from Univair, flatten it out and buy stock to make your own. At the annual convention last Fri I say two polished coupes with almost perfect original panels (they also had nice shoulder harness installation). I wanted to take pictures of their panels but they went flying Sat and I had to leave. If their owners read this list please let me know - I would like info on your harness installs and pictures of your panels. Also I want to know how you got wrinkle paint in the correct colors.
