I teach Jr. High Science in the inner city of Metro Los Angeles. I was a GM Auto Tech and an Army Certified Aircraft Turbine Engine Tech. And I have found that I don't know anywhere near as much about this aircraft business as I thought ;). I'll finally get to the point: I have purchased a 1946 415D which has a badly rusted double fork nose gear inner cylinder. Could you please advise me on my options for repair or replacement of this strut? Any and all help much appreciated!
