Lynn, an engineer by the name of Chris Faulkner in Edmonton has a shoulder harness attachment kit that you can buy from him. It was approved by the Dept of Transport, and I believe (don't quote me) that this also gives it FAA approval. I installed it on my coupe by riveting 5 rivets through rib F with the belt connector supplied sandwiched between the skin and rib F. Very clean . I can get you a phone number and fax the 337 I received if you need.
