I'm not sure of what you just said in your recent Email regarding model CD's. My coupe is serial 4169, model CD. I didn't think I had the stainless cover over the forward fuselage, just forward of the windscreen. Not really sure, though. So I haven't changed to a model D, which I would have liked to do because of the higher gross weight. Are you saying that I probably do have the SS cover? Or is it only serials above 4500? By the way, how do I determine if it is SS? Both aluminum and SS are non-magnetic. Give it a "scratch test"?
