Has anyone on the list had experience with the military star decals ? I am planing to repaint my Coupe in the blue and yellow early WW II training plane color scheme. I just finished putting the yellow on the wings and want to use the early star with the red circle in the middle. My question is how well will the star decal fair over the finish tapes. Of special concern is the wing bottom with all the inspection plate openings. Aircraft Spruce gets $52.40 for the size I'd use and I sure don't want to waste the bucks if they won't fair tightly over the various protrusions.
