Well here in SoCal it has been very moist the last few weeks. Up to our common rain fall this year plus a little. On the few sunny days the humidity has been high.

We managed to primer the tail cone inside. Primer was also sprayed to the inside of the top skin and shot the rivets into their little holes. Next will be another quick coat over the rivets inside. Just to make them pretty too.

Wife and I are going up to her Fathers in San Jose this weekend. So will not get the wiring and control cables in until next week.

Pictures of work until now did not come out. This was the first time I tried the digital camera. I lost them some how.

The cabin inside is 70% acid washed. Frames B to F. The inside of the walk boxes is a real problem. Can not get all the nooks and crannies. I find it hard to draw that line of where to stop.

Found that the longitudinal I ordered from Univair is the wrong one. Alon has not a thing in the way of a picture of the area. And the Mooney M10 parts book leaves a lot to be desired. And the sale person I talked to know less about Coupes that my grandkids.

After talking it over with my A&P. It was decided to remove the skin over the center fuel tank. One, we still have the longitudinal to install. Two, we would need to fill in the hole for the filler neck of the fuel tank that will not be there anymore. We’ll just make a new stainless steel skin. Third, You have much better access for working.

Will try to get up to see the Bell’s on Saturday.

    Yours, Warren H
