David; It sounds as though your Coupe has been modified with a different pitot tube. All those that I have seen have had the static port built in with the pitot tube. There are 4 small holes around the circumference of the pitot. Then two tubes lead in to the cabin. One is the pitot and one is the static line. Do you have any paper work on the modification?
