Yes, but won't it be great fun if either the static isn't hooked up or worse yet, the tube inside the wing has gone leaky? Has anyone added a fuselage-mounted static port? I'm guessing it might be tough, given the way the cowling sticks out and the wing fillets affect things. But it sure would be easier to service. By the way, if the aluminum tubing in the wing IS leaking on your static or pitot line, what's to do, other than rip the covering off?
