John, I was faced with the same decision a couple of months ago during my ongoing restoration of 99621. Here's the answer I received, yes the mags can be rebuilt, they will use all new parts, (50 year old new stock). The question is , do you want authenticity or reliability ? I went with new Slicks, harnesses & plugs. Also went with new fuel pump.. Been trying to get 99621 ready for some fresh paint but had almost a month long delay while in the Grand Rapids area. Just got back this afternoon, finally got the grass cut and am digging thru 225 + emails, (most of which is repetitious responces) Tomorrow it's 'get serious time' with the Coupe again. regards JoeC N99621 ps--Dennis, get a CFI and get out of that boundage area. You don't have to go very far North or West for a temporary tie-down. Should you choose the garage option, remember I still have Al J.'s Genioowine Ercoupe tow bar. -----Original Message----- From: john k <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Coupers Tech <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thursday, September 27, 2001 4:11 PM Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Eisemann Mags >----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following >any advice in this forum.]---- > >My 46' 415D has the original Eisemann mags.
