As a newcomer to the Ercoupe world, my engineer asked that dreadful question of "what should the tension be on the elevator and rudder cables. 160 seems too high" Research on this page, which was very useful suggests that it was never resolved. Does anyone know if Jim Read resolved it? Sadly it is keeping a wonderful aircraft grounded at the moment and any help would be appreciated. ==^================================================================
