I have just installed an O-200 in the silve bullet and am having a few problems. When advancing the throttle at about 1600 rpm the engine seems to stall for about a 1/4 inch of movement of the throttle. I apply carb heat and it doesn't do it. Change of idle mixture and the mixture control have no effect. The engine has about 1000 hours on it with 0 STOH but has been sitting for a few years I opened the carb but found nothing obvious. I take off at 4500 msl and flying at 5500 msl after a few minutes I will get a slight shudder from the engine no indications on rpm or anything else. This will happen every few minutes it is very brief. Change of mixture or applying carb heat doesn't help. It almost seems to quit but it is so brief it doesn't. I have taken it up to 10000 feet and it runs great except for this. It has new plugs, wires and slick magnetos. Any ideas appreciated. Oh it was in the 60's F. I don't know what the humidity was but due point was -1. Thanks.
