Disagreed. The continentals (C85's ) I saw so far are all good in the
bottom end. The Top times are a
different thing ,where I see things from 500 to 1500 hours.
I am not an A&P myself , but I bothered our 30 years experience A&P with
questions until he threw me
out of the shop.
Generally said good care of any engine will lead to long engine life.
Praising Lycoming seems to me a common thing, building up some prejudice.
What Lycoming are you comparing the C-75/85 with??
