I have a McCauley prop on my C85 and I would rather say the 'vibrations' due to hefty work through the air disappear when I throttle down. How bad is this vibration you experience? I would think that in any case vibrations should not be considered normal in the lower RPM range. Maybe your prop needs service. But as usual I am just talking from my limited experience..
