Assuming none or minimal corrosion issues, I have a real issue with
the idea of parting out an intact, flying, vintage aircraft.

Why not sell it as an airframe with a run-out engine? No, you won't
get near as much as with time left on the engine. On the other hand,
you used up that engine time. And it's probably still worth more than
when you bought it, if that was a long time ago.

And no, you probably won't make as much as if you stripped every
bit of and sold it piece-by-piece on EBay.

But we're not making any new Ercoupes, and we really should try and
do right (or Wright) by the airframes that are intact.
