I had to remove this gage because of corrosion and replaced it with a
cover plate from Skyport. Because of it's location, you'll have to remove
the tank to gain access to all the screws.

Need info on rebuilding the inside fuel gage on left wing tank of a 1966
ALON #221. It is leaking and the gage face is discolored. Unvair said
good luck on finding parts including gaskets. Aircraft spruce the same. I
am going to try Skport next. Is there anyone out there with a known parts
source for this item or has had this problem and came up with a repair
fix. Please contact me . at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Also need to know where the fuel level in the tank needs to be in order
to remove the gage for inspection with out causing a fuel spill
Thanks in advance for any input
