Hi Lynn, I had to do exactly the same thing. The braces were too long if
the carb inlet fittings were level, and the clamp did not fit. Crazy to
have to buy something to satisfy OEM,only to have to modify it to make it
work. It would have been just as easy to start from scratch.Pete

Artie:     I am not familiar with the Skyport Kit. However, I just
finished 
putting the Univair braces on a 46 Coupe with the C-85. I had to modify
the 
braces slightly because they were not bent properly to provide a good fit.
I 
also used a different cushion clamp, but it all came out OK after a couple

"adjustments"
