Hi Lynn, I had to do exactly the same thing. The braces were too long if the carb inlet fittings were level, and the clamp did not fit. Crazy to have to buy something to satisfy OEM,only to have to modify it to make it work. It would have been just as easy to start from scratch.Pete -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, October 01, 2002 4:34 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [COUPERS-TECH] Brace AD ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Artie: I am not familiar with the Skyport Kit. However, I just finished putting the Univair braces on a 46 Coupe with the C-85. I had to modify the braces slightly because they were not bent properly to provide a good fit. I also used a different cushion clamp, but it all came out OK after a couple "adjustments" Lynn Nelsen ================================================================== TO UNSUBSCRIBE go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm ====================== TO UNSUBSCRIBE go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
