Hi, Had a Luscombe which blew water from cabin air after a rain...uncomfortable. Had a Cessna 150 which would retain water in the duct to the carb heat. When you pulled the carb heat, the engine would quit...scarey. Snipped a small "v" shape in bottom of the lowest part of the Scat (where the water collected)...no more problem. The "v" does not need to be very large (about 1/4" should do) and will not affect operation of the system. Maybe this could help?
