Suppose one has an Ercoupe with logs back to the factory, and logs and S/N, N number, engine s/n all match, etc', and FAA records show them to be correct as to registered Owner, etc. ...... How difficult is it to get a new Data Plate from Univair for this airplane ????? I would think that nototized letter from local FAA GADO office, including all this info and the FAA listing of the airplane would be all that was necessary to have Univair issue a new nameplate... ??? Any experiences ??? Thoughts??? Appreciate you sharing your experiences..
