Randy; You should use a good quality, shielded wire like one that conforms to military specification MIL-C-27500. That will stand the temperature and has a tough Tefzel outer cover. I would recommend using a 14 gauge, and running three separate wires to the switch. One for each magneto, and one directly to the engine case for the ground. You need the shielded wire because it will greatly reduce/eliminate any ignition noise, when the shield is properly grounded. It will probably cost 65 to 75 cents a foot, but when properly installed, it will do the job well for a long time. (Aircraft Spruce P/N for 14 gauge is 11-14414) Good luck Lynn Nelsen ========================================================================== ==== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
