Today I flew to Addison, TX to see the warbird museum. Had to park at one of the most expensive FBO's, How expensive was it? Well, it is called Million Air.... As usually happens, if my plane is going to break down, it will not do it before I leave my home airport, it will do it when I have to return. Anyhow, the starter motor turns but the engine does not. I had to hand crank it while a scared volunteer stood on the brakes. When I got home, I pulled the starter off nad find that the little pinion turns in both directions and that does not seem right. I am sure i am not the first to have this problem. What is the repair for this?
