I think Dick has a really good point here. I bought what was supposedly a "good Coupe" and promptly put $10,000 into it to make it a "good Coupe". I know the aircraft inside out and still have not resolved all the issues. Knowing what I know now, I could have bought the same Coupe for $8,000 less and done the same amount of work. If you can see the spars and the innermost rear ribs under the walkway, if the Swiss Cheeze mod has been done, and you have access to a boroscope or an Avscope, and if there is no corrosion, and if your budget allows for the necessary engine expenses, it should be worth your while. Like Dick says, you will know the Coupe very well when you are done, this could be a great opportunity for you and the Coupe,Pete -----Original Message----- From: Richard Eddinger [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 20, 2002 12:44 PM To: Bob Saville; dennis spiegel Cc: john jameson; 'Coupetech' Subject: Re: [COUPERS-TECH] 30 year old ceconite ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Except if you can get it cheap enough and want to take the time and put the bucks in it you will know exactly what you have.
