Howdy, John. The 415C (older model) has 1260 pounds gross weight, with an air plane that weighs (let's say - "Your milage may vary") 760. That leaves about 400-500 pounds. Subtract 6 times number of gallons of gas and that is what you've net. In the Ercoupe, as most side-by-side seated aircraft, balance is not the factor that it is in tandem (Cub) types.
