Hi everyone- First I would like to say thanks for all the advice and support the last few days. You have been quite helpful!
Next, I am pleased to report that we were able to extract the Ercoupe out of the field without any damage whatsoever, by towing it out with a custom-made tow-bar attached to a tractor. Looked kinda funny, but worked. The first tow vehicle was a truck, which promptly got stuck. Next vehicle was a Honda 4-wheeler, which also got stuck. Finally, a tractor was located, which pretty much did the trick without any major difficulties. The fence turned out to be easier than we thought, too. One of the fenceposts by the front gate entrance to the field was loose in its hole, so it came right out, making an opening large enough for the plane to come out without having to remove the wings. Once back at the hangar, it was time for a three-vehicle cleanup, plus the airplane. End result: Less-muddy airplane that is having its engine looked at next week and very happy to be back in its hangar!!! Thanks again for all your help- Zach
