I agree with Audeen. In addition to her advice, if the field is
as
soft as you say it is, and the next area beyond the berm is softer, I
would place boards (2 1" x 10"s laid end to end) in front of each tire
and pull the plane along on top of the boards, picking each rear one up
after each tire rolls off of it and putting it back in front of the
front one. This will prevent additional strain on your landing gear and
