To all in the group: The Continental
overhaul manual form X-30010 page 13 indicates that the magneto timing for a
C-85 engine should be set with the right Mag set at 28 DBTDC and the left at 30
DBTDC. The local A&P mechanics say that they should both be set the
same. It was infered that a notice of some sort was published that made
the change. Has anyone seen or heard of such a document and what are yours
set at???? I am inclinded to go by the book.
